What are you afraid of? Spiders? Heights? Or maybe the fear of creating your own marketing campaign? Even the most brilliant people (and marketers) are afraid of something. That’s why, in honor of the Halloween season, we’ve compiled all of the things that the Bean Team is afraid of! Enjoy.
As long as I can remember, I’ve never had that Halloween “fear factor”. As a kid, I remember watching a Friday the 13th movie (The guy with a hockey mask and an ax) and commenting to my Mom, “This is stupid, don’t you think one of these people would have a gun?” I guess the things that freak me out are the things that could actually happen. Like the movie ‘Outbreak’, that show put me in a weird place for weeks!
Hands down- SNAKES!! To this day, I have been known to loose all motherly instincts in the presence of snakes. I hate to admit that on 3 separate occasions I have left my kids in the wake of pending snake attacks (not really since they were all gardner snakes) to head for the hills.
Poorly defined project scopes and short deadlines.
I am scared of snakes. And spiders. Also (and this may seem silly BUT) I’m kinda terrified of birds, too…as long as they’re in trees or in a cage I’m OK, but if they’re flying around me in any capacity then all bets are off. Needless to say I would NOT do well in any sort of zoo or jungle type environment.
The dark. There, I said it. I am afraid of the dark. I can’t see, I stub my toe, scary things could jump out at me… you never know. Best to avoid the dark at all costs.
Everyone knows that I’m terrified of spiders. That’s no secret. (Many people in this office have seen me jump on top of my desk at the sight of one.) What people don’t know (because I rarely admit this) is that I’m very scared of the sound of wind chimes at night. Freaks me out. Every time.
Tight spaces give me the heebie-jeebies. Any place where it’s not easy to escape from. When it comes to marketing, I’m in constant fear of the never ending changes that Facebook makes.
I’m afraid of snakes. Fortunately Halloween is a Fall holiday and here in Nebraska snakes aren’t much of an issue this time of year.
I have a super irrational fear that Im going to one day find a snake in my shower. I don’t know where this fear came from, or why the shower specifically, but I think we can all agree that snakes are the worst.
Definitely spiders. My coworkers got to experience my fear of spiders firsthand when we found a huge one in my office – Shannon probably thought she hired a 12 year old girl! I can’t be far enough away from anything that has more than four or less than two legs (snakes!).
