I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2016 with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a double minor in Political Science and English. If that did not make for a crazy enough year, my wife and I welcomed our daughter Violet into the world on September 4th. Along with Violet, our household consists of an Australian Shepherd, Leo, and an English Shepherd, Behr. Needless to say, there is never a dull moment in our house, and we would not have it any other way.
I became interested in advertising while I was at SCC working on credits to transfer to UNL. My wife (girlfriend at the time) had classes in the Journalism College and had nothing but good things to say, so I figured I would give it a shot. Within my first semester I was hooked and knew I had found my calling. Ever since then it has been a pretty wild ride but I am loving every minute of it.
After starting here at Transformation, my role has already rapidly changed, starting as Marketing Support and evolving into the Content Marketing Manager. For me, content is king, and much of our clients success hinges on the content on their website. On any given day I will be implementing web optimization strategy, writing blogs, writing content for print pieces, proofreading and editing, using Google Analytics, and creating and deploying email blasts. There is never a slow day for me and everyday offers a new challenge, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
If I am not at work, I can be found hanging out with Violet and the dogs, cooking up some new recipe, or shooting pool and playing ping pong with my friends in our basement.
