I developed a passion for advertising at an early age. It all started when I wondered why a certain pest control company didn’t use The Muffin Man song in their commercials. I can’t say that my life took a straight path into the field however. I started my college career planning on becoming a pharmacist. When I realized that chemistry and I weren’t really friends, I quickly changed my focus to something where I could better use my creative talents. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and minor in Psychology from the University of Nebraska Kearney, with dreams of becoming a copywriter.
I worked a variety of different jobs, including frosting doughnuts, general office work, even working at an amusement park, but I knew none of them were quite right for me and I always felt like something was missing. I never gave up on my dream, even though it started to seem impossible. My appreciation for live music led me to use my skills to help promote several local bands as a hobby. It’s rewarding, but only something I do for fun. I was excited when I got the opportunity to join the Bean Team. I immediately knew this is where I belong. I’m proud to be a part of the Transformation family and am finally able to do what I love.
