Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO is often compared to a race. We think that is a great analogy. Your website would be the horse and the person or company running your SEO campaign would be the jockey. Say tomorrow you get the itch to sign up for the Kentucky Derby (now we know that you can’t just sign up but work with us here). You would want to enter the race with a thoroughbred racing horse that’s fully trained to run a successful race. The horse should be in good shape, healthy, and in prime condition. Considering that we are comparing the horse to a website, there are few differences. When getting your site ready for the race the first task at hand is to do on-site optimization or conditioning the site. This process will correct any inefficient code, harmful broken links, and streamline content and navigation among many other things.
After striving to create the best possible “horse” for the race no one in their right mind would hand it over to just anyone and trust that they are going to take it to the finish line. You need to decide on a jockey. Have you ever seen a horse in the chute without a jockey? A jockey is the one who steers your horse. Without a jockey, that nice thoroughbred horse you have been training and conditioning will be off in the ditch grazing and enjoying life and not doing the work set in front of it. Sure you can have your Nephew Chip give it try. He’s ridden a horse before and he’ll do it for little pay, but is he the one you want put your money on? I didn’t think so. You want a seasoned jockey that has won several races.
Transformation has been jockeying websites for several years. We condition websites and steer them toward the head of the pack leaving those “nags” (competitors) in the dust. Lets ride… Giddy-up!
