Located just east of Lincoln, Transformation is relatively unknown by many. Through our participation in the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce B2B Expo we increased our visibility, and using our creativity the Transformation Marketing interactive booth kept attendees highly engaged.
In 2015 we expanded our staff to include a new salesperson and videographer, opening us up to additional skills and work capacity. Our objective was to fill the new departments with leads as well as educate the attendees to the services and successes of Transformation Marketing.
Anyone can hand out pens and brochures but at Transformation Marketing we are dynamic, fun, energetic and relatable people and our booth needed to reflect our personalities and passion for our work! Our clients are our superhero’s so we brought that to life by creating our own superhero personas and engaging attendees by helping them find their superpowers.
Our booth design was simple allowing us to put our efforts into creative interaction with attendees and showcasing video and photography. Social media was utilized to announce our upcoming presence at the show as well as release pictures and video during and following the show. We created a simple print piece posing the question of “Is your marketing legendary” and followed up with “The Power of the Super Beanâ€, inspired by our logo icon.
6 Transformation Marketing superheros were on hand to staff the booth wearing superhero shirts and capes. Being naturally outgoing we easily convinced people that wearing the cape can really can make you feel powerful and we all have our own super powers. Our staff took turns walking the tradeshow floor, engaging other vendors and driving traffic back to our booth.
A super hero video featuring our staff played throughout the day giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about each staff member, but the focus was not on us, it was on the attendees. Providing capes and “wind” we asked people what they did best and helped them find their superpower, dressed them in capes using our custom photo frame and took their pictures. We posted the pictures on social media and Instagrammed them throughout the day.
If providing fun wasn’t’ enough we also held a drawing for a free commercial shoot, promoting our new video services.
We were so pleased with the turnout at the Expo as well as the activity at our booth. The attendance was up over the previous year and attendees told us that our booth was the most fun and memorable. People stood in line to take pictures with us, allowed us to release them on our social accounts, and many took their own pictures and posted on their personal social accounts with our tag.
The Instagram posts from our booth and super hero campaign collectively received nearly 250 likes.
We gained over 100 new leads at the show. Follow up with those connections resulted in 3 new commercial shoots for the video department and one full service client.
