We hope your business has jumped on the social media train by now. With Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube and so many other social networks, we here at Transformation Marketing know how hectic it is managing the office and all those accounts. We thought we’d give you an insight on our top 4 social media hacks to help make the job a little easier.
1. Use Hashtags
Love ‘em or hate ‘em, hashtags are a key component in all social media networks. It may seem like a no-brainer to some, but because of their importance, we noted them #1 on our list of social media hacks.
Hashtags are a great approach to targeting a highly specific audience. For instance, if you are targeting the Lincoln, NE area, where your business locates, hashtag #LNK to attract those area residents.
When including hashtags in your posts, distinguish one-to-two keywords in the written post and apply them at the end of the sentence using # (hashtag) in front of each word.
2. Use eye-catching Images and videos.
Let’s take two studies by the Social Media Examiner, images on Facebook are the most engaging type of content from a user’s perspective. A picture on Facebook showed an enormous 87% interaction. They also included company Facebook pages who post status updates with visuals in the forms of videos and photo albums create up to 180% and 100% stronger engagement.
Humans are visual creatures. Whether on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or any other social media network, take advantage of showing raw, organic photos of your business on your company’s page.
3. Ask Interesting and Creative Questions On Posts
These days everyone seems to love giving their advice on social media; this is the perfect excuse for your business to take advantage of your follower’s openness and ask unique questions on each post.
This strategy will ultimately give your business’s social media pages more interactive engagement helping to take it to the next level.
4. Social Media Management/ Engagement Tools
It cannot be stressed enough; the more active your business is on social media, the more effective each trick and hack will be to your page. Instead of weekly posts, posting 2-3 times a week on each particular social media network is ideal.
